My Babysitter's a Vampire Season 1 Deleted/Edited Scenes

Scenes from season 1 episodes of My Babysitter's a Vampire that were either edited or deleted by Disney Channel. Episodes aired in their entirety on Teletoon (Canada), which is how they should have been aired on Disney in my opinion, I personally don't see any issues with any of these scenes.

Below are the promos for Cameron Kennedy's and Kate Todd's "Fang Picked" episodes. Cameron picked "Blood Drive" (which aired today, June 27th) and Kate's airs tomorrow. Also included is a Rory-promo for the second season, which premieres Friday, June 29th, only on Disney Channel.

Season two of My Babysitter’s a Vampire finds Sarah (Vanessa Morgan) adjusting to being a full-blooded vampire and learning to play by the rules of Whitechapel’s Vampire Council, while Ethan (Matthew Knight) refuses to give up on his dreams of curing vampirism and finally asking Sarah on a date. Ethan and his friends soon discover they have a mysterious new enemy determined to wipe out all the supernatural competition in Whitechapel. Yet no matter what kind of supernatural villains the world has in store, the scariest thing of all is still: High School!

My Babysitter's a Vampire writer Ken Cuperus (episodes: "Blood Drive" and "Guys and Dolls") talks to TV, eh? About the episode "Blood Drive" which is nominated for a Writer's Guild of Canada Award in the Children and Youth category, with other MBAV episodes; "Friday Night Frights" (written by Ben Joseph) and "Re-Vamped" (written by Alice Prodanou).

TV, eh?: Can you describe the episode, and how it fit into the My Babysitter’s a Vampire season?


Ken Cuperus: "Blood Drive" takes place early in the season as Sarah struggles to keep herself from drinking blood, which would turn her from a fledgling into a full vampire. But temptation comes knocking in the form of a school blood drive, and Erica is piling on the peer pressure to get Sarah to drink. Everything gets more complicated when it is revealed that the two nurses who are running the blood drive are, in fact, vampires themselves… and the blood drive is a long-running scam to stock up on fresh blood. Rory and Erica try to steal the blood from the blood truck, but get captured by the vamp nurses — and Ethan, Benny and Sarah are forced to give chase, to rescue their pals. That’s where the title comes from. It’s a blood drive … but also they are driving in a blood truck. Forget the script, the title alone is award worthy, right? (crickets)

"Blood Drive" was an awesome episode of MBAV I don't know what I liked about the episode most; the story line itself, Sarah trying to eat junk to keep from drinking blood, Benny's antics on trying to get the ambulance doors open ("Doorus-openus!"), or Erica's attempts to steal the blood, only for her and Rory to be busted by the vampire nurses. An enjoyable episode which deserves an award!

Right now on Teletoon (Canada), My Babysitter's a Vampire just wrapped up the first season yesterday and now along with the Disney Channel (U.S., UK, Australian and etc.) MBAV fans around the globe; they have to wait for word on the second season's premiere as well.
