My Babysitter's a Vampire "Fang Picked Week" Disney Promo

A Disney Channel promo about the stars of My Babysitter's a Vampire picking their favorite episodes from the first season, leading up to the second season premiere, which airs Friday June 29th at 8:00PM (7:00PM Central)! And below the video is a synopsis of the second season, via iTunes.



Season two of My Babysitter’s a Vampire finds Sarah (Vanessa Morgan) adjusting to being a full-blooded vampire and learning to play by the rules of Whitechapel’s Vampire Council, while Ethan (Matthew Knight) refuses to give up on his dreams of curing vampirism and finally asking Sarah on a date. Ethan and his friends soon discover they have a mysterious new enemy determined to wipe out all the supernatural competition in Whitechapel. Yet no matter what kind of supernatural villains the world has in store, the scariest thing of all is still: High School!

Alice Prodanou Wins for "Re-Vamped"

According to Tortonto.com, My Babysitter's a Vampire writer Alice Prodanou has won a Canadian Screenwriting Awards, in the Children and Youth category for the first season finale episode, "Re-Vamped"

Well no wonder Prodanou won an award for "Re-Vamped" it was a very good & solid episode of the series and a good way to end the season. Everybody loves a good cliffhanger, it's playing "the waiting game" for the conclusion that is the problem!

Let's all applaud her, and now MBAV has won it's first of what I hope is many awards! Next person nominated for an award on MBAV is Matthew Knight (who plays Ethan Morgan), a Young Artist Award in the category for Best Performance in a TV series - Leading Young Actor.

RE:Fresh's My Babysitter’s a Vampire Caption Contest

Fresh TV is finally doing something for My Babysitter's a Vampire fans online. Usually they are leaning towards the Total Drama world. Via Brendan at the RE:Fresh blog:

We’ve got something for you guys today that I’ve been looking forward to for a while! Many of you already know about our awesome fan art group on deviantART, re:Fresh Pics and the monthly art jams we hold there. Coming up in May, we’re trying something totally different which should give even more fans a chance to participate: the first My Babysitter’s a Vampire caption contest!

Here’s now it works: download the screenshot above either here or on deviantART and add a caption to it. The funnier the better! Then submit it to the group. At the end of May, we’ll pick our favourites and share them on here on the blog! Simple but awesome!

Remember to keep things all-ages appropriate – that means avoid any salty language or inappropriate references – but otherwise get creative! Speech bubbles, motivational posters, it’s all good!
